Checking the Reliability of English as a Second Language Learners’ Aptitude: The Use of Achievement Tests as Predictors

In Saudi Arabia, high school education has always been blamed for students’ weaknesses in the English language. Teachers have accused of overestimating scores language courses, resulting evaluations that do not reflect real levels. Consequently, students believe they are good enough at and can survive an program college level when not. The paper is attempt to bridge gap between learning public schools level. It will try answer a significant question about whether preparatory years able predict their performances — particularly majoring also explores factors affect university GPAs who English.
